Yesterday's assignment was a long one. You basically had to write two complete RACECE answers in order to get a three. You needed two quotes to explain how Mexico and California are similar, and then you needed two more quotes to explain how Mexico and California and different. I'm the teacher, and it took me 40 minutes to write my example answer

Task #1
Your first task is to complete yesterday's assignment. Most of you aren't done that assignment. You can see that assignment below, or you can click this link to see yesterday's assignment. There's a lot of information there to help you out: a rubric, an example answer, and a mini-lesson. Make sure you check it all out!

Task #2
This task is almost identical to task #1, but instead of comparing/contrasting two settings in Esperanza Rising, you'll have to compare/contrast two characters. You should use the same rubric and the same sample answer as we used yesterday, and this question will test you on the same standard as we learned yesterday.
